Sonya Allen

Sonya Allen

As Controller of CTI, Sonya Allen is responsible for directing CTI’s Operations Department, Accounts Receivable Department, budgeting and other dispatching and administrative functions. She joined the Company in February of 2003 and has served CTI in that capacity since her arrival.

Before joining CTI, Sonya worked in the legal field as a Paralegal for 13 years. She received her Associates Degree in Business Administration from Baker College.

Sheila

Sheila Zimmer

Office Manager for 5+ years at CTI. Responsibilities include Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Front-line Service on all incoming calls.

Previous experience includes:

  • Sales & Service Manager for 10 years at Citizens Bank in 100+ Representative Call Center; managed, trained and motivated staff to meet sales and service goals set by marketing promotions.
  • Interview Placement Supervisor for Clerical Temp Agency for 8 years; conducted interviews, testing and placement of temporary clerical employees at businesses in Oakland and Genesee County area.
Dan

Dan Lane

Dan has served CTI as our IT Manager and Network Sales Engineer since 2010. Dan brings with him 20 years of IT experience specializing in Voice over IP, Virtual Private Networks, Wireless Networking and Servers.

Dan also teaches both intermediate and advanced networking courses focusing on Windows Servers and Linux Servers at ITT.

Dan holds a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science from Saginaw Valley State University.

Jennifier Hunter

Jennifer Hunter

Jennifer Hunter has worked in telecom since 1993. She currently has an Associates degree in Computer Network Systems – Information Technology. She has certifications with the NEC products – Aspire, UX5000 & SV8100. She is also certified with Toshiba CTX product and Ortronics communication hardware. She is capable of working on the following products: NEC, Toshiba, Avaya/AT&T/Lucent, Nortel, Rolm, Panasonic, Macrotel/Samsung phone system and associated voicemail products. She can manage Netopia, Sonicwall and certain Cisco router/firewalls. Jennifer works with many IT departments in order to connect VoIP phones and SIP trunks. Jennifer has been with CTI since 1999 and currently holds the position of field service technician.

Vernon obtained his bachlors in Hospitality Management at State University of New York at Cobleskill


Miranda

Miranda Arens

Miranda Arens is a Technology Consultant since April 2005. For the first four years with CTI, she managed the AT&T division, as well as assist customers with upgrading their communication equipment. Prior to CTI, she was a manager and trainer for a local wireless company for over 10 years. She received her CTTS Certificate, as well as all her other certifications. Her daily responsibilities are new business development and assisting existing customers with all aspects of their communication. She takes a consultative approach with all her potential customers and enjoys the process of assisting them gather information on new technology to assure they are receiving the best fit for their present and future needs.

Miranda is a member of the Milford LBN and a former Flint Rotarian. She was also the Treasurer for the Lake Fenton Youth Football for two years and a youth cheer coach for four years. Miranda received the Gold Whistle Award in 2009 for coaching.

Bindi

Bindi

Bindi, a border-aussie, was born March 9, 2010. She is a designer breed of a border collie / Australian shepherd mix (a.k.a.mutt). She was rescued by Fenton Adopt-a-Pet from a high kill shelter when she was only 6 weeks old. She was then donated to the Flint Institute of Music Charity Auction in May of 2010 where she was finally adopted by the Allen family. In keeping with her Australian background, she was named after Bindi Irwin by the successors of CTI.

As the first official mascot of CTI, her duties include offering unconditional affection to each member of CTI as well as visiting customers, graciously accepting treats from delivery organizations and comfortably napping on her blanket.
