Review Ring Tones

  1. Press [CALL 1]
  2. Press [8] [1] [1]
  3. Press [1] to listen to intercom ring tone or [2] for outside line ring tone
  4. Press numbers 1-8 to listen to ring tones
  5. Press [SPK] to hang up

Change Ring Tones

  1. Press [CALL 1]
  2. Press [8] [2] [0]
  3. Press [1] to set intercom ring tone or [2] for outside line ring tone.
  4. Press number 1-8 to select ring tone
  5. Press [HOLD] to save desired tone
  6. Press [SPK] to hang up

Name Change on Phones

  1. Press [CALL 1]
  2. Enter [8] [0] [0]
  3. Enter the extension number for the name that you want to change – you will see the extension number and the name that is currently programmed
  4. Press [HOLD] to save this entry or enter the new name using the one-touch keys.

Helpful Hints:

  • If you need to back-up, press the CONF key.
  • If you need a space, press the pound (#) key twice.
  • If you have two letters of the same key in a row, press the pound (#) key once to save each letter.
  • Press [HOLD] to save the new name
  • You will hear three beeps confirming your change

NOTE: This changes the programming in the phone system and on the display of the phones, but does not necessarily change it in the voice mail.

Programming One-touch Buttons "Solid Silver Buttons"

  1. Press [CALL 1]
  2. Press [8] [5] [5]
  3. Press the button to be programmed
  4. Enter the telephone number OR Code to be stored
    NOTE: If the number is a telephone number, enter [9] first
  5. Press [HOLD]
  6. Press [SPK]

Background Music

  1. Press [CALL 1]
  2. Enter [8] [2] [5]
  3. Press [SPK]

Changing the Date/Time on your Phone System

  1. Press [CALL 1]
  2. Dial [8] [2] [8]
  3. Password [0] [0] [0] [0]
  4. Enter the time in Military time (YYMMDDWHHMM)

NOTE: W is the day of the week: 0=Sunday, 1=Monday, 2=Tuesday, 3=Wednesday, 4=Thursday, 5=Friday, 6=Saturday. Hours are in military time.

Conference Calls

  1. Place or answer a call
  2. Press [CONF]
  3. Dial number (either extension or "9" and outside number)
  4. Press [CONF]
  5. When all parties have been called, press [CONF] again (this connects all callers together)

NOTE: You may dial the number and press [CONF] (steps 3 & 4) as many times as needed. Maximum capacity is 32 callers on the line – be sure you have enough lines to handle the total number of callers. (i.e. if you have 6 lines and have 7 people (yourself and 6 others) on the call, no one else can call your business as all your lines will be busy. If you require more people on a call than you have lines, or don't want to use too many lines, call 810-743-6900 and ask your Customer Advocate about option for larger conference calls.
